Still alive and kicking!

I’m sorry for my long abstinence. I thank you for your visit and mails. Here’s a small update:

I’m currently playing drums in the Cover Rock Band “Airbag”, helping them out because their original drummer has sadly experienced a painful prolapsed intervertebral disc. Sounds scary, eh?

We have a couple of gigs in Germany, playing everything from 1hour or 2hour sets at small festivals, indoor and open air, as well as 3hour+ shows at biker clubs and private events.

The setlist features a good portion of AC/DC, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin Songs, which is always great fun to play. The repertoire reaches from very old Neil Young to hip Foo Fighters, from Black Sabbath to Red Hot Chili Peppers.

It’s pretty much work for me, sometimes my arms hurt after a gig, but it feels good to be back on stage.

Beside that i’m thinking about new lessons, also video lessons, to show you here on dooDrum.com. If you have ideas or want me to show you something special, please let me know.

So long, i must prepare for tonight’s rehearsals. See you on the road ;)

About dooDrummer

Hi there, my name is Markus and i'm from Germany where i started drumming in 1978. After learning to play all Beatles songs backwards, i was instructed after the methods of Siegfried Fink and Dante Agostini. Over the years i played in numerous bands almost every style you can imagine. Since over a decade i also give private drum lessons. I'm currently writing/recording an instrumental album called "General Wasting".
